The Trotting Mare Caravan Park is an adults only park, open all year round and situated between the historic village of Overton-on-Dee (near Wrexham), and the Lakelands of Ellesmere (Shropshire). The grounds are uniquely located on the border joining North Wales and Shropshire in England upon the A528. This being the last and first gateway into and out of Wales.

The site provides you with the perfect base for exploring and relaxing within the Welsh and English countryside.

The caravan park has a fully-modernised toilet and shower block with central heating and hot and cold water. The park contains hard standing pitches, each pitch being numbered with mains water, water waste and electricity.

We also have Deluxe pitches available, these consist of (as above) and also include a patio with gardens.

Fishing is available on-site. The fish we have are common carp, carp F1s, ide, perch and roach. All fish are to be returned.

Dogs welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times.

Perfect for a country holiday and a mini break.

Wi-Fi: Payable via Paypal only. Pricing options are listed upon connection, depending on length of service required.

Apologies, but all payments made are non-refundable in event of cancellation.

We have seasonal pitches available for 12 months which can commence any time of the year. The seasonal pitches we have available are Serviced pitches at £2,600.00 per year, these are on hard standing with electric, water and water waste. The electricity is an extra charge and this is on a meter, paid quarterly. Each pitch has room for an awning and a car. A payment of £650.00 will be required to secure your pitch and the balance of £1,950.00 will be due on arrival of your caravan/motorhome.

We also have a Deluxe Pitch, with patio and gardens, at £2,900 per year.

We are open 365 days a year.
